A lonely month in the dormitory

As an initial tryout, so far one writer in residence has been to Szekszárd: József Attila Prize-recipient István Vörös. Though he was compelled to spend a month alone in an empty dormitory in the middle of lockdown due to Covid-19, for him, January 2021 was still a peculiar experience, for he was inspired by the city despite the unusual circumstances. Vörös met local authors and members of the Miklós Mészöly Society, and he even went on a pleasure flight – a special “service.”
