In late August, the Writers’ Residence Program has the pleasure of announcing a new venue when the local government of Nyíregyháza assigned the County and City Library as an operating partner. The apartment designated for the writers in residence is part of a building located in the city center. Although literary life in Nyíregyháza has always been vibrant, the Hungarian and international writers who will come to the city as part of the Writers Residence program will further strengthen the city’s position on the literary scene. Writers will come to the Nyírség as part of the Writers’ Residence program starting this year.
