Next to his Greek sounding family name, his first name 'Ag' means 'blush of dawn' in his mother tongue – which suggests a true lyrical personality. Although this is true, Apolloni is not only a poet but a novelist and playwright as well and is becoming more and more popular internationally. His works have been published in Dutch, Czech and Greek language. Currently S. Fischer Verlag, one of the most famous German publishers is preparing one of his works.

Furthermore, the 40-year-old writer is the editor of Symbol and the founder of Bard Books established in 2019 where 70 books were published in the past three years.

During his stay in Debrecen, he will be preoccupied with the modern rewriting of well known tales (eg. Red Riding Hood).
