The novel tells the story of Prenk Jakova, an Albanian composer imprisoned by Enver Hoxa’s people. But because they needed his knowledge and art, during the day they always took him to his apartment in order for him to compose music that praises communism. By the way, Jakova is the author of the first recorded Albanian opera called Mrika.
At the publishing of the volume, Stefan Çapaliku voiced his gratitude for the opportunity to work in Hungary. Even though he prepared thoroughly for the work, the requied environment for creation was eventually provided by the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter and the tranquil city of Pécs. The author hopes that his novel will be published in Hungarian as well in the future.
