Viktor Horváth
Viktor Horváth (1962) is a writer and translator. He graduated from the Janus Pannonius University of Pécs with a degree in literature and linguistics. He has worked as a teacher in the House of Arts in Pécs and in several secondary schools. Since 1994, he has published poems, short stories, translations, and essays. His awards include Day of Silence - First Prize in the National Graveyard Poetry Competition (2008), Second Prize in the Poetry Translation Competition of the Association of Translators (2011), First Prize in the Poetry Competition of the Vámbéry Society (2011), Litera Public Poetry Competition - First Prize (2012), and the European Union Prize for Literature (2012)
