Zoltán Komálovics (1964, Szombathely) graduated from the Berzsenyi Dániel Teachers’ Training College with a degree in Hungarian History, from the Hungarian Department at ELTE, and from the Doctoral School of Literary Studies of the University of Pécs. He is a teacher at the Benedictine High School and College in Pannonhalma. He has published essays touching on literary criticism, literary history, and aesthetics in Jelenkor, Alföld, Műhely, Tiszatáj, Új Forrás, and Ambroozia. Since 2015m he has also been the managing editor of Pannonhalmi Szemle. He regularly publishes poetry in literary journals.
