Stefan Çapaliku (1965, Skodra) is an Albanian writer, dramaturg, and theater specialist. Stefan Çapaliku is a scholar who first taught at the University of Skodra and then, beginning in 1998, at the University of Tirana. He is also a renowned poet, but he is famous perhaps first and foremost as a playwright. In Albania, he was named Playwright of the Year in 1995, 2003, 2007, 2012, and 2016. Çapaliku also directs plays and films. Several of his works have been performed at international theater festivals, where he has won national and international awards.
