Gábor Zsille
Gábor Zsille (1972, Budapest) is a poet, translator, publicist, scholar of Polish culture, and editor. Until 1997, he studied Catholic theology in Esztergom, Szeged, and Pécs. Between 2010 and 2013, he served as a columnist for the Catholic weekly Új Ember, and since 2014, he has been the poetry columnist for Magyar Napló. In 2018, he began working as the reading editor of the magazine Parnassus. He is president of the Hungarian Writers’ Association’s Section of Translators, and he also serves as a member of the board of the Kölcsey Society. In addition to his own volumes, he has published four volumes of translations in English and nineteen volumes of translations in Polish. He has received several outstanding awards, including:
